Benden sits on Hoca Tahsin Street, where Karaköy feels close, lively and a little unpredictable. We kept that feeling instead of hiding it. The tables face the street, the colours stay visible and the pace of the neighbourhood moves around you.
Some guests stop for breakfast and coffee. Some share calamari, shrimp or a long lunch. Others arrive for dinner and stay as the lights come on. The place changes through the day, but the table remains the centre of it.
